Ms. Anuja Sapkota, PhD Scholar

She holds a MA in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University and a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Kathmandu University. She worked as a Social Work Field Coordinator and Teacher earlier at the Department of Social Work at Classic College International, Pingalsthan Kathmandu. Anuja was awarded with research grants from Rural Reconstruction Nepal and Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies, Tribhuvan University and Hiroshima University Partnership Project for Peacebuilding and Capacity Development. She has conducted researches on Women, Peace and Security in the context of Nepal.  She has worked as a Project Officer with NagarikAwaz where she led a project named “Rebuilding Social Harmony in the Community. Her responsibilities in the project included mobilizing peace volunteers, facilitating training, interactions and workshops, monitoring and evaluation of the project, reporting, build linkage and coordination with concerned stakeholders from grassroots to national level.
