Ms. Seema Luitel has over two decades of working experience with government, NGOs, and international organizations to design and manage projects that enhance access to livelihoods and economic opportunities, with a strong emphasis on gender equality and social inclusion.
Seema holds a Master’s in Gender and Development and is recognized for her expertise in integrating rights-based approaches into development initiatives. Her work is grounded in the belief that empowering women and marginalized communities is essential to fostering sustainable, long-term change. She is also a passionate advocate for survivors of gender-based violence, integrating trauma-informed approaches to support healing and recovery.
Seema has worked extensively on projects aimed at providing both immediate and long-term support for women who have experienced violence, advocating for legal reform and social systems that prioritize their protection and recovery.
Known for her skills as a facilitator and her commitment to capacity building, Seema is dedicated to creating spaces where marginalized voices can be heard and lead the change they wish to see. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and volunteering in social sector initiatives.
